"Super easy to use and works great"
I’ve been using the Proton VPN browser extension for a little while now, and the whole process has been really easy. It connects quickly, doesn’t get in the way when I’m browsing, and switching locations is simple. Most of the time I forget it’s even running, which is exactly what I want from a VPN. Really happy with it so far.
"Solid VPN across my devices"
I’ve been using ProtonVPN on my Windows laptop, Android phone, and occasionally my iPad, and overall it’s been working well for me. Setup was straightforward, and I didn’t have to fiddle with a bunch of settings to get it going. I also appreciate that the apps feel fairly consistent across devices, so I’m not having to relearn everything each time. To be fair, I’m not doing anything super advanced with it, so I can’t speak for every use case, but for everyday use I haven’t run into any major problems. Happy with it so far.
"Finally Found a VPN I Feel Good About"
I’ve been using ProtonVPN for a little while now, i’m relieved I gave it a try. I wanted something that felt more trustworthy than those random free VPNs, and their no-logs policy and clear privacy info made me feel a lot better. The app has worked smoothly for me so far, and I really don’t have much to complain about. It just feels like a safer choice.

"Works okay, but Proton syncing is a bit messy"
It does work for the most part, I just wish the Proton apps synced more smoothly. Sometimes things don’t update the way I expect, and it can get a little frustrating, not a dealbreaker, but definitely something I noticed.

"Solid Security, Just Takes a Minute"
The security feels really solid, which I appreciate. The settings were a little confusing at first, but once I poked around a bit, I started getting the hang of it.
"Smooth performance so far"
It’s been running really smoothly on my laptop, and I haven’t noticed any weird drops or lag so far. it just feels nice not having to worry about performance while using it.

"I’ve been using ProtonVPN and it…"
I’ve been using protonvpn and it works okay most of the time. The bigger issue for me was support. I had a login problem and sent in a ticket, then ended up waiting almost two days before hearing anything back. When someone finally replied, they were nice and helpful enough, but by that point I already felt kind of ignored. The whole back and forth just dragged on longer than it should have. It’s not a terrible service, but if you need help quickly, the support doesn’t feel very reliable.
"I gave ProtonVPN a try for a few…"
I gave ProtonVPN a try for a few days, but it was not really a good fit for me. Canceling took more clicks than I expected, and I had to go through a few help pages before I figured it out. The refund did show up after a couple of days, so that was fair. Support was okay overall, just not very quick.

"Secure, but the lag is avoidable"
It feels safe enough overall, but Secure Core gets laggy for me at times. I like the extra protection, but the slowdown feels avoidable and makes it harder to use regularly.

"Fair price and no annoying upsells"
I ended up going with Proton VPN after comparing a few different options, mostly because the yearly price just made the most sense for me. It wasn’t the absolute cheapest one out there, but it felt reasonable for what you get. One weird detail I remember is that I was eating cold leftover pizza while comparing plans, and Proton was the only one where I didn’t feel like I was being nudged into some upgrade every two seconds. The plan is straightforward, it works well for what I need, and overall I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth...

"Setup Took Longer Than Expected"
Maybe it was just me, but getting this set up took way longer than I expected. I kept wondering if I was doing something wrong because it didn’t feel as straightforward as it should have

I’ve been using ProtonVPN mostly for torrents and P2P, it’s been solid. The speeds are good, the connection rarely drops, and getting it set up was simple. After a few months of using it, I’m happy with it and don’t really have much to complain about.

"I’ve been using it for a while…"
I’ve been using it for a while now, and it pretty much always finds a server close to me. My brother uses the same one too, and we’ve both had a smooth experience with it. Works well and doesn’t give me much trouble.

"Overall, the speed has been good and..."
Overall, the speed has been good and it’s quick most days. I’m a little cautious with relying on it for anything time-sensitive, just in case it slows down at the wrong moment, but for regular use it’s been solid...

"I’ve been using the free version of protonvpn..."
I’ve been using the free version of protonvpn for a few months now, i’m impressed considering it doesn’t cost anything. The no data limit is the big win for me, and it’s been easy enough to get running on both my laptop and phone without much fuss.
The only thing that keeps it from feeling like a total 5-star experience is the speed. It can get noticeably slow at night, and the free server options are kind of limited. Still, for casual browsing, checking emails, and feeling a bit more private online, I think it’s a fair deal and definitely worth trying

"Good kill switch, but it can be a little annoying"
In my experience, the kill switch works well most of the time and does what it’s supposed to do, which I appreciate. The only issue I’ve run into is that sometimes my internet stays blocked even after I reconnect. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be frustrating when I’m trying to get back online quickly.

"ProtonVPN has been a lifesaver for me. The…"
ProtonVPN has been a lifesaver for me. The device limit is actually enough for my laptop, phone, tablet, and even my work PC, which feels like a small miracle. I cannot explain how annoying it is to constantly log out of one device just to use another, so not having to deal with that anymore makes me ridiculously happy. That was literally all I wanted, and ProtonVPN nailed it.

"Great, Until Mobile Decides to Test My Patience"
Most of the time it works fine, but on mobile it can get slow enough that it feels like I’m waiting for a dramatic plot twist to finally happen. Not a dealbreaker, just a little frustrating when I’m trying to do something quickly.

"The VPN itself worked okay for…"
The VPN itself worked okay for me, so no major complaints there. But I regret not looking into how the account and billing stuff worked before signing up. I tried to change my plan and the billing page just kept sending me around in circles. Finding where to cancel renewal took way longer than it should have too. Support did reply eventually, but it wasn’t exactly quick. It’s not the worst service I’ve used, but managing your account feels messier than it needs to be

"Decent VPN, but not as reliable as it should be"
protonvpn has been mostly fine for me, but the connection is kind of unpredictable. Some days it connects right away and stays solid for hours, then other times it randomly drops or takes forever to find a decent server. It’s not awful, but when I’m trying to work or stream, it gets annoying fast. I still use it, but for a service that seems to present itself as dependable, the reliability could definitely be better.
